Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of State for Cabinet Affairs H E Ahmad bin Abdullah bin Zaid Al Mahmoud yesterday met African Union Commissioner for Peace and Security Ismail Chergui and his delegation comprising former Burundi president and AU High Representative for Mali and Sahel, Pierre Buyoya, AU Special Representative for Somalia, Francisco Madeira, and Head of AU Permanent Observer Mission to Arab League, Abdelhamid Bouzaher. Talks dealt with topics of interest to the African continent and development of peace process in Darfur on the basis of Doha Document.
