KHARTOUM: Director of the Office for Follow up of Darfur Peace Dr. Amin Hassan Omer, has expressed his deep appreciation to the State of Qatar's efforts exerted for realizing peace and stability in Darfur and actively contributing to the early recovery projects.
In a joint press conference held here Friday by the European Union Office in Khartoum, in cooperation with Darfur Regional Authority (DRA), on the occasion of the inauguration of Wadi Alcoa water project in Darfur, funded by the EU within the framework of the peace process in Darfur and development strategy adopted by the international donors' conference held in Doha last April.
He also lauded the European Union's role in the peace process in Sudan and its participation in the Doha Donors conference. (QNA)
