Doha, Qatar: The government service centre at The Pearl has been ranked the best government service centre in Qatar for the first half of 2026, achieving an overall score of 92.9 percent, the Civil Service and Government Development Bureau (CGB) announced on Sunday.

The ranking forms part of ongoing efforts to realise the objectives of Qatar National Vision 2030, the Bureau said in a post on its official X platform.

The evaluation covered four key pillars: service delivery results, customer experience, operational efficiency, and the performance of the centre director and support staff.

According to the CGB, the Pearl centre’s strong showing across these areas reflects the high standards of service provided to citizens and residents at the facility located in The Pearl-Qatar.

Government service centres play a vital role in delivering a wide range of public services efficiently and conveniently. Recent data released by the Bureau showed that these centres collectively completed more than 42,000 services in July alone, underscoring the scale of demand and the importance of continuous improvement.

The Pearl centre has consistently featured among the more active facilities, handling thousands of transactions in recent months. Its performance in the latest half-year assessment highlights the positive impact of focused management, staff commitment and a customer-centred approach.

The Civil Service and Government Development Bureau regularly evaluates the network of government service centres to identify best practices, encourage excellence and ensure that public services meet the expectations of users. The results are used to recognise outstanding performance and drive further enhancements across the system.

Qatar National Vision 2030 places strong emphasis on developing efficient public institutions, improving the quality of government services and enhancing the experience of citizens and residents.

Achievements such as the Pearl centre’s top ranking demonstrate tangible progress toward these goals.

The Bureau noted that high scores in customer experience and operational efficiency are particularly significant, as they directly affect public satisfaction and the overall effectiveness of service delivery.

Officials have repeatedly stressed the importance of continuous training, streamlined processes and responsive leadership at the centres. The Pearl facility’s success is seen as a model that other centres can draw upon as the evaluation system continues.

The announcement comes amid broader initiatives to modernise public administration and expand digital and in-person service options. Residents can access a variety of government services through these centres, which operate under coordinated standards set by the relevant authorities.

The CGB continues to monitor performance indicators closely and publishes regular updates on service volumes and quality metrics. Recognition of top-performing centres is intended to motivate staff and reinforce a culture of excellence throughout the government service network.
