Al Khor and Al Markhiya will compete for a place in next QNB Stars League (QSL) season on Friday, the organisers announced yesterday.
The date and kick-off time of the play-off match for the 2019-20 season was decided after Al Markhiya finished Second Division runner-up on Sunday.
The play-off pits 11th-placed team in the QSL (Al Khor) against Second Division runners-up of this season (Al Markhiya).
The match will be played at the Al Janoub Stadium. The kick-off is at 18:30.
The match regulations stipulate that in the event of a tie, extra time of 30 minutes (15 minutes in each half) will be played. If that also ends in a draw, penalty shoot-out will decide the winners.
