Doha: The India Cultural Centre (ICC) recently marked the World Youth Skills Day organised by ICC Youth Wing. 

The event saw many firsts in the history of the ICC, including recognition of young achievers,

The event honoured Adhrika Manikandan Nair, who graduated with Honours and Order of Excellence and a proud recipient of the Distinguished Student Award from Qatar University, and 14-year-old Anvi Amit Joshi a young climber who reached the top of Mount Kilimanjaro. 

Another young achiever Dr. Harshita Shailesh, was also honoured for receiving her PhD from Qatar University, upon completion of her thesis on proliferative signalling in breast cancer.

The felicitation ceremony was steered by Krishna Kumar Bandhakavi General Secretary and mementos were presented by Xavier Dhanaraj, First Secretary and Coordinating Officer of ICC along with DTM Sonny Varghese, Dr. Kavitah Mustafa ME, PhD, Professor, Anna University, ICC President PN BabuRajan and KS Prasad, ICC Advisory Chair.

The evening reverberated with mesmerising performances presented seamlessly in the presence of Indian Community leaders.
