Doha: An official reception ceremony was held for HH the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani upon his arrival this morning at Al Ittihadiya Palace in Cairo in the Arab Republic of Egypt.
HH the Amir was received by his brother HE President of the sisterly Arab Republic of Egypt Abdel Fattah El-Sisi.
The ceremony began with the playing of the Qatari and Egyptian national anthems, after which HH the Emir reviewed the guard of honor, then His Highness shook hands with their Excellencies members of the Egyptian official delegation and senior officials. HE President of the Arab Republic of Egypt shook hands with their Excellencies members of the official delegation accompanying HH the Amir.
