A Lotus Evora 2020 will be the grand prize for the Homeware Festival raffle draw.
Doha Festival City (DFC) has invited all shoppers to participate in its unique raffle draw for a chance to win exclusive prizes as part of its month-long Homeware Festival that runs until April 8.
This first-ever 100% digital Spend & Win Raffle Draw is being organised in partnership with the Qatar National Tourism Council (QNTC).
DFC shoppers registering for the raffle draw have a chance to win one of 21 valuable prizes. A Lotus Evora 2020, priced at QR439,000 will be offered as the grand prize; the second prize is sponsored by the world-acclaimed Swiss watchmaker Frederique Constant offering a watch worth QR30,000, while Pottery Barn, Pottery Barn Kids and West Elm will gift QR12,000 vouchers each. The complete list of participating retailers along with the prizes are available on the Doha Festival City website. All DFC shoppers who have purchased goods between March 8 and April 8, for a cumulative spend of QR200 and more, can register to participate in the raffle draw. The draw finale will be held on April 9, and the winners will be announced online and on the mall’s large digital screen near Cup of Joe.
A myriad of exciting homeware-inspired activities across the mall will run in parallel with raffle draw. Visitors can enjoy a series of mini-exhibitions showing the latest collections from a number of retailers. Butterfly Design, ACE, Mothercare, MUJI, Pottery Barn, Pottery Barn Kids and West Elm will be showcased until March 26, the last day visitors can see their exclusive set-ups. The One, Antoine Karam, Home Centre, Pan Emirates, IKEA, Villeroy & Boch, MADAME COCO, Karaca, H&M, Harvey Nichols, Marks & Spencer, Tavola, Zara Home and W&B Home, also starring in the Festival, will boast their homeware items across the mall until April 8.
Robert Hall, DFC General Manager, said: “As we thrive in creating memorable moments, we see this exciting raffle draw as a way to engage with our customers, rewarding them for shopping at their mall of choice and offering a unique chance to win The grand prize, or one of the 21 valuable prizes sponsored by Doha Festival City retailers.
“Doha Festival City boasts the largest and the most diverse collection of homeware retailers, and the ongoing Homeware Festival is an excellent occasion to introduce them to our guests, while we are expecting more openings in the upcoming months.” DFC opening hours are Saturday to Wednesday from 10am to 10 pm, and Thursday to Friday from 10am to 11pm. In line with the preventative measures set out by the authorities, DFC has introduced stringent health and safety measures throughout the mall for its staff and visitors. These include a thorough mall disinfection treatment on a weekly basis, robust cleaning and sanitization operations during mall trading hours, and 127 hand sanitizing stations installed in the areas that have commonly touched surfaces.
At the entrance to the mall and all shops, visitors must show their green Ehteraz QR code, and should wear a face mask during their whole time in the mall. Physical distancing stickers in common queuing areas, such as ATM machines, banks, telecommunication kiosks and branches and various retail shops were installed to help shoppers keep the required physical distance as set forth in the guidelines by the authorities. Stores provide sanitisers on entry and at cash points to ensure the highest level of hygiene.
