Q-Auto hosts 5th Volkswagen Junior Masters

Q-Auto, the distributor of Volkswagen in Qatar, concluded the fifth annual Volkswagen Junior Masters football tournament at the Aspire Dome. The event is part of one of the largest youth football tournaments worldwide for boys aged 10-12 year old. 

The participating teams were: German International School, Dutch Soccer School, Compass International School, Pro Inter Soccer, Evo Soccer, Doha British School, Qatar Futsal Academy, Qatar Foundation Team. 
Throughout the day the eight local teams competed in a series of round-robin knockout matches. Team Evolution Soccer exhibited top quality skills which led them to the champion title, while Compass International School got second place and Qatar Futsal Academy third. 
Both the champions and the runner-up teams were granted the opportunity to travel to Dubai to participate in the regional final this March and compete against the best teams from Kuwait, Bahrain, Dubai, Abu Dhabi & Oman.
Commenting on the Volkswagen Junior Master Tournament, Antonio Leal, Volkswagen General Sales & Marketing Manager, said: “We are proud to host the 5th edition of The Volkswagen Junior Masters tournament in Qatar. As in every year, the tournament brought together talented players, under the age of 13, who are passionate about football and enjoy being part of the team. We would like to thank all teams for their outstanding performance and sportsmanship, ” he added.
