Indian Business and Professionals Council (IBPC Qatar), the apex body of Indian Businessmen and Professionals in Qatar, functioning under the aegis of the Embassy of India, will be leading a business delegation to a mega food and beverage (F&B) industry trade show “Indus Food” to be held at the India Exposition Mart, Greater Noida, New Delhi India from January 18-19, 2018.
The delegation from Qatar will be led by Sumit Malhotra, the General Secretary of the Council.
“Indus Food 2018 is a major trade event focusing on the food and beverage industry and is being organised by the Trade Promotion Council of India and supported by the Ministry of Commerce and Industry, Government of India” said P Kumaran, the Ambassador of India to Qatar.
“This mega Food & Beverage industry trade show with a well-defined program makes it a hub for the F&B Industry to maximize their business opportunities across the globe. Qatar in its quest to achieve self-sufficiency in the food sector, will find Indus Food an ideal platform to explore avenues of new opportunities and partnerships” he continued.
“With over 500 most prominent global F&B industry buyers from over 35 countries gathering to meet over 400 + selected Indian suppliers with the purpose of sourcing new products, meeting with suppliers and developing new business, this platform will be very useful for buyers from Qatar” said Mr. Surinder Bhagat, Coordinating Officer of IBPC and First Secretary at the Indian Embassy.
Registered buyers from Qatar will have a host of benefits such as, re-reimbursement of registration fee and airfare, hotel accommodation and networking opportunities with top Indian food professionals and government representatives among the others.
