Doha: Twenty employees of the Supreme Council of Health, Hamad Medical Corporation, Primary Health Care Corporation, Qatar University, the Ministry of Environment, Sbitar, Qatar Airways and shipping firms received International Air Transport Association-certified certificate (in preparation and shipment of biological samples) after passing a first-of-its-kind training course organised by the SCH in Qatar.
Three secured the Golden level (excellence) and 14 the Silver level (privilege).
The course aimed to raise the number of qualified staff to keep pace with the growing needs of the health sector with regard to shipments of biological samples and increase cooperation with specialised research centres in the field across the world, according to a statement issued by the SCH.
