Le Colonial, located on the first floor of the hotel, has in just a short period of time has won many fans amongst Doha’s foodies, is the hotel’s signature restaurant. Decorated to reflect the history of Qatar and the Msheireb area, the restaurant offers a menu of breakfast favourites and light meals served until 3pm. Using local produce, the chefs have re-invented some breakfast classics with a Qatari spin.
Indulge in a traditional eggs Benedict or try a flavorful Qatari breakfast including shakshuka and balaleet. Fresh juices and international coffees and teas compliment the menu. As the weather cools, diners can sit on the restaurant’s terrace and savor their meal with a view across to Souq Waqif, the historical heart of Doha.
Meanwhile, Sofra restaurant on the ground floor of the hotel evokes the majestic wooden dhows which are so much a part of Qatar’s history.
It’s a la carte menu takes guests on a tour de force of the Levant, Arab and Qatari cuisines for dinner. Perfect for family dinners and get togethers, the menu encourages sharing with beautifully cooked platters of seafood and meat straight from the charcoal grill as well as specialty dishes and Qatari favorites.
