Doha - Minister of Commerce and Industry HE Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamad bin Qassim Al Abdullah Al-Thani met separately on Sunday with Minister of Industry and Commerce of the Republic of Paraguay HE Luis Alberto Castiglioni, and Minister of Trade, Industry and Energy of the Republic of Korea HE Moon Sung-wook.
During the two meetings, they reviewed aspects of cooperation between the State of Qatar and Paraguay and Korea in the commercial, industrial and investment fields and means of enhancing and developing them, in addition to discussing the commercial policies and the efforts made by the three countries to confront the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic.
HE Minister of Commerce and Industry shed light, during the two meetings, on the economic policies made by the State of Qatar to support the private sector, among them are incentives, legislation and promising opportunities that encourage foreign investment and provide more investment opportunities for companies wishing to invest and establish a base in the State of Qatar.
