Doha: The Emir H H Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani and the Father Emir H H Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al-Thani performed the funeral prayers of the late Grandfather Emir H H Sheikh Khalifa bin Hamad Al-Thani at Imam Mohammed bin Abdulwahab Mosque in Doha on Monday.
The Deputy Emir H H Sheikh Abdullah bin Hamad Al-Thani, H E Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamad Al -Thani, H E Sheikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Thani, H E Sheikh Abdul Aziz bin Khalifa Al Thani, H H Sheikh Jassim bin Hamad Al Thani, Personal Representative of the Emir, H H Sheikh Abdullah bin Khalifa Al Thani, H H Sheikh Mohammed bin Khalifa Al Thani, H E Sheikh Jassim bin Khalifa Al Thani, the Prime Minister and Minister of Interior, H E Sheikh Abdullah bin Nasser bin Khalifa Al Thani, Speaker of the Advisory (Shura) Council, H E Mohammed bin Mubarak Al Khulaifi, their excellencies sons of the Father Emir, took part in the prayer which was performed after Asr prayer.
A number of their excellencies Sheikhs, Ministers, senior state officials, dignitaries and citizens also attended the prayer.
