New York: HH the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani met Monday with Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the accompanying delegation, at the residence of the Permanent Mission of the State of Qatar to the United Nations, on the sidelines of the 74th session of the United Nations General Assembly in New York.
Talks during the meeting dealt with the bilateral relations and ways of developing them in various aspects of cooperation, especially in the political and economic areas, to serve the interests of the two friendly people.
Indian Prime Minister expressed thanks to the Amir for the good treatment for the Indian community in the State of Qatar.
The Amir and the Prime Minister also exchanged views on the latest developments in the region.
The meeting was attended by their Excellencies members of the official delegation accompanying the Amir.
