ASTANA: Kazakh Prime Minister Karim Masimov will submit a letter of resignation to President Nursultan Nazarbayev on Monday, a government source said.
The source said that the post of the head of the government will be assumed by incumbent Deputy Prime Minister Serik Akhmetov and Masimov will take charge of the presidential administration of Kazakhstan, according to the Russian (RIA Novosti) News Agency.
Masimov, 47, has been Kazakhstan's prime minister since January 2007. (QNA)
