Cairo: Qatar participated on Wednesday in the third meeting of the expert group concerned with following up on the implementation of the 2030 media map for sustainable development.
Director of the International Cooperation and Agreements Department Sheikh Ahmed bin Thani Al Thani participated in the meeting.
The meeting recommended the importance of persistent follow-up for the implementation of projects and initiatives in Media Map of Sustainable Development 2030 through highlighting the files of high priority for the Arab region, including food and water security. The meeting noted that the Media map of sustainable development endorsed by Council of Arab Information Ministers included a multitude of events and activities in the context of collective work which aims at devoting the Media role as an indispensable tool in achieving sustainable development in the Arab region.
