Doha: The Ministry of Labour will organise an occupational safety and health conference on the occasion of the celebration of the World Day for Safety and Health at Work, today.
The conference highlights the efforts made by various authorities, institutions and companies operating in the State of Qatar in the context of educating workers at all levels of the standards and requirements for occupational safety and health. The conference will present the most important achievements and distinguished companies in these fields will be honoured.
The Ministry has implemented an integrated plan with the aim of spreading awareness among employers and workers in the field of occupational safety and health, by addressing companies and operating institutions to organise awareness events on the importance of adhering to all conditions and standards of occupational safety and rewarding outstanding workers.
