Doha: Dar Al Sharq Board of Directors held a meeting over telephone today to review the arrangements made by the general administration of the group regarding the impacts of global economic situation.
The board made several decisions, including restructuring of the Board of Directors of Dar Al Sharq and accordingly will be chaired by His Excellency Sheikh Dr Khalid bin Thani Al Thani.
Some specializations, departments and companies have been merged in order to enhance the efficiency of work and reduce expenses without affecting the core objectives of Dar Al Sharq.
At the end of the meeting, the Chairman and members of the Board of Directors thanked and expressed their gratitude to His Excellency Sheikh Thani bin Abdullah Al Thani for his great efforts in developing and reviving Dar Al Sharq, making it the largest Qatari publishing house.
