Doha: The Ministry of Communications and Information Technology (MCIT) has signed a strategic partnership agreement with Scale AI, a global leader in artificial intelligence (AI), on the sidelines of Web Summit Qatar 2025.
The agreement was signed by H E Mohammed bin Ali Al Mannai, Minister of Communications and Information Technology, and Alex Wang, Founder and CEO of Scale AI.
This partnership is part of MCIT’s efforts to enhance operational efficiency in government entities by equipping them with advanced AI-powered tools and solutions that simplify key government processes and improve the quality and efficiency of services.
The five-year agreement aims to drive AI adoption in the government sector, enhance the efficiency of e-services, and develop the skills of the national workforce to lead Qatar’s digital future.
It also includes the development of innovative AI-driven projects, supporting Qatar’s digital transformation strategies, promoting sustainable economic growth, and reinforcing the country’s global leadership in responsible AI adoption.
Additionally, the agreement will foster AI-driven digital innovation across various government entities.
