Education Ministry launches unified portal for public services

Doha: The Ministry of Education and Higher Education launched yesterday the unified online portal for public services.

The portal aims to enable the public, stakeholders and other citizens and residents to have electronic access to the services provided, through a unified window and at the required speed, where the Ministry is working to unify all its electronic services under one umbrella that is comprehensive and integrated.

Undersecretary of the Ministry of Education and Higher Education Dr. Ibrahim bin Saleh Al Nuaimi, said that the launch of the electronic portal is a continuation of the Ministry efforts to develop the services it provides. 

It is in line with the e-government strategy for Qatar 2020 for digital transformation aimed at enabling and facilitating the access of the audience of the services at any time and from any place, the Undersecretary added.

Al Nuaimi pointed out that the ministry has standardized its electronic services and put it under a multi-service umbrella, which facilitates the process of obtaining it in a way that meets the aspirations of the public, and in a manner that suits their multiple needs in the digital age.

He explained in a press statement that the services will be provided in multiple stages, as today the first package of the electronic services was launched for the public, in line with the activation of electronic alternatives and support for the rationalization of printing initiative.

He said that it aims at achieving optimal exploitation of education and higher education systems, to raise the efficiency and productivity of the ministry’s services to the public’s satisfaction and to meet its aspirations for the quality of services.
