KARACHI: The Sindh government has ignored recommendations of the World Health Organisaiton (WHO) to tackle the swine flu.
The recommendations called for the establishment of isolation wards and influenza labs in hospitals which were not followed.
The failure to follow WHO recommendations has increased the risk of a swine flu outbreak in Pakistan.
According to a BBC report, over 700 people have died of a swine flu outbreak in neighbouring India since mid-December.
