34 firms to take part in jewellery expo

Doha: Thirty-four local and global exhibitors will showcase more than 500 of the world’s most prestigious gemstone and watch brands at the 11th Doha Jewellery and Watches Exhibition 2014.
The six-day expo opens at Qatar National Convention Centre tomorrow. Local exhibitors include Marzooq Al Shamlan & Sons which will premier the ‘ENICAR’ brand. It will be available at three outlets in Qatar.
Enicar was founded in 1913 in La Chaux de Fonds, Switzerland. When owner artiste Racine spelled his name backwards, he created a timeless brand recognised for its high quality over 100 years. 
International designer David Webb is also participating. Operating in New York since 1948, it offers high class jewellery. Each delicate piece is built at  the company’s workshop in America. David Webb employs artisan jewellers from all over the globe.
Visitors will also have an opportunity to view an exciting range of jewellery and watches from internationally renowned jeweller and watchmaker, Mouawad. 
Unveiling sublime novelties for even the most discerning visitors, these pieces are a testimony to the brand’s excellence in creativity and craftsmanship.
