Doha: The Community Policing Section of South Security Department in association with Wakrah Municipality will be holding two-day “Family Spring Festival” from today. The event will begin at 2pm till 5pm at Souq Waqif of Al Wakrah (behind petrol station, close to Shell roundabout).
The programme aims at enhancing communication and interaction between police and public and will consist of competitions and recreational games for children, police dog demonstrations, display of Qatari traditional foods, handicrafts, camels and horses, security and safety awareness expo. Prizes will be distributed to the winners of the competitions.
The organisers invited families to visit the festival and enjoy the activities and the entry is free.
