Doha: Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) index rose by 0.23 percent or 25.76 points at the beginning of yesterday's trading, reaching 11,023 points, compared to the closing of Wednesday’s trading.
Data issued by Qatar Stock Exchange showed an increase in some sectors, including the communications sector by 0.55 percent, followed by the industries sector and the consumer goods and services sector by 0.52 percent, then the real estate sector by 0.29 percent. On the other hand, the transportation sector decreased by 0.30 percent, the banking and financial services sector by 0.40 percent and the insurance sector by 0.53 percent.
At 10:00 am, Qatar Stock Exchange recorded transactions worth QR55.270m, distributed to 20,186,722 shares with the implementation of 1,756 transactions.
