Beirut: The President of the Lebanese Republic Gen Michel Aoun has received a written message from the Emir H H Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, on bilateral ties and ways of enhancing them in all fields. The message was handed over by the Minister of Foreign Affairs H E Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al Thani, during a meeting with the Lebanese President here yesterday.
The Foreign Minister also handed over an invitation from the Emir to the Lebanese President to visit Qatar. The Lebanese President welcomed the invitation and promised to make it at the earliest opportunity. The President asked he Foreign Minister to convey his greetings to the Emir, wishing him continued good health and happiness and the State of Qatar's leadership and people further progress and prosperity. Lebanon's Prime Minister Tammam Salam and the Speaker of the Parliament Nabih Berri have also met here with Qatar's Minister of Foreign Affairs.
