Qatar billiards team won two gold and three bronze medals at the Arab Billiards and Snooker Championships in Manama, Bahrain. Walid Majed won the nine-ball gold medal and later he partnered with Bashar Hussein and Abdul Latif Fawal to clinch the 10-ball billiards gold.
Hussein also won the bronze medal in the nine singles balls category. Majed, Hussein and Latif Fawal claimed billiard 9-ball pair bronze. Ali Al Obaidly won the six-ball snooker individual bronze medal.
