Doha: The Indian Institute of Quantity Surveyors Qatar Chapter (IIQS Qatar), which is associated to the Indian Business and Professionals Council (IBPC) under the aegis of Embassy of India in Qatar, has successfully conducted its fifth Continuing Professional Development (CPD) event of 2022 at the Concorde Hotel recently.
The topic of CPD was ‘RICS updates and Case study tips’ presented by Robert Kidd – RICS Qatar Board, Assessor Chair and Auditor and Amit Bhamra, RICS Qatar Board, Chair, and a Licensed Assessor Trainer.
Kidd and Bhamra delivered a comprehensive presentation citing practical examples of some of the major challenges encountered in obtaining MRICS. They presented the updates of RICS and outstanding note with many useful suggestions from their vast experience. Their presentation mainly focused on getting successful in writing Case Study and facing an interview.
The event was attended by various members of IIQS Qatar and construction professionals. A Question-and-Answer session followed the presentation wherein both speakers addressed the queries of the attendees. The program was guided by Sunil Kamalaksha, General Secretary of IIQS, greeting speech by Kiran Podakanti, President of IIQS, and with a vote of thanks by Venkat Reddy, Treasurer of IIQS.
