The cash-strapped Indian carrier is looking forward to a major expansion of its international services. The airline has wide operations within India, but due to stiff competition, a price war with budget carriers and high prices of aviation fuel, it reported a huge loss of Rs41.29bn (about $678.9m) during the 2013-2014 fiscal year.
According to reports, there are plans for new services to Dubai from Kochi and Mumbai; and to Abu Dhabi from Ahmedabad, Lucknow and Goa.
