Qatar Charity (QC) was presented with a generous QR 250,000 donation from Lulu Hypermarket Group Qatar, demonstrating their support for Qatar Charity's esteemed 'Charity Partner' (CP) program. This considerable contribution was made possible through Lulu Group's annual 'Shop & Donate' initiative, specially launched during the holy month of Ramadan.
The cheque was handed over to Abdulaziz Jassim Hejji, QC Director of Programs and International Development, by Shaijan M O, the regional director of LuLu Hypermarket. The ceremony took place at LuLu Regional Office on D-Ring Road in the presence of Shanavas P M, regional manager of LuLu, and other officials from both sides
Abdulaziz Jassim Hejji, Director of the International Programs and Development Department at Qatar Charity, CP is the largest program of Qatar Charity in the field of social responsibility. As part of this program, the CP trademark is awarded to private companies and various bodies and institutions under strategic partnerships, according to different conditions, to support the projects implemented by Qatar Charity globally. CP shows the commitment of these bodies to their responsibilities towards the community.
He expressed gratitude to Lulu Group in Qatar for their generous donation. He commended their consistent support for Qatar Charity's projects and campaigns, as well as their commitment to community service and humanitarian causes through various agreements with Qatar Charity.

Over the past five years, Qatar Charity signed several co-operation agreements with LuLu Hypermarket Qatar. The first agreement allows customers to donate when paying bills at various LuLu Hypermarkets to support charitable projects within and outside Qatar.
The second agreement promotes Qatar Charity’s Khair Cards to promote charity among shoppers, while the third agreement involves a co-operation under Lulu’s ‘Shop & Donate’ drive, in addition to Qatar Charity’s ‘CP’ agreement.
