Doha: The Ministry of Foreign Affairs said that it had received with great sadness, sorrow, and denunciation the news of killing one of the guards of the Embassy of Qatar in France while he was performing his duties at the embassy headquarters Monday morning.
In a statement on Monday, the Ministry affirmed its full confidence in the justice procedures initiated by the French authorities after they arrested the suspect, and noted that it is awaiting the results of the investigations.
The Ministry expressed Qatar's condolences to the family of the deceased, and reiterated its firm position rejecting criminal acts, regardless of the motives and reasons.
