DOHA: The Public Works Authority ‘Ashghal’ has announced that a traffic change on F-Ring Road will take place to enable the construction of an interchange linking F-Ring Road with G-Ring Road. The traffic shifting, held in coordination with the General Directorate of Traffic, starts tomorrow.
Traffic will be realigned to the permanent lanes of the F-Ring Road for users travelling from Mesaimeer towards Hamad International Airport. The new route comprises four lanes, replacing the three-lane carriageway for a short distance of approximately 1,850 metres.
By removing the detour, the F-Ring carriage will be fully open in both directions since Ashghal had diverted traffic coming from HIA towards Mesaimeer to the permanent lanes last week.
Ashghal has advised that the speed limit to remain at 80km per hour instead of 100km per hour.
Ashghal has also asked all road users to abide by the new speed and follow the new signage installed by Ashghal for their safety.
