Burger King Qatar achieved the highest annual sales growth among all Burger King franchises in the Middle East in 2012. The results are exceptional considering that the brand operates in 10 country markets in the region, with over 300 restaurants, of which Qatar currently operates 18, with plans to open more restaurants in 2013.
Premier Food Services, a part of Al Jassim Group and the brand franchise partner in Qatar, was recognised for its performance by Burger King at a special awards ceremony held in Lebanon recently that welcomed franchise partners from all over the region and high-ranking corporate officials from Burger King.
Camille Aoun (pictured), General Manager, Premier Food Services, accepted the award on behalf of the Al Jassim Group. He said: “Qatar is still growing, and with this growth it is imperative that we continue development of the Burger King franchise in the country. The performance of Burger King Qatar in 2012 has been especially indicative of the positive sentiment that is flowing through the sector, which allows us to plan strategically, including committing tothe expansion of the network and reinforcing access to Burger King restaurants in various new locations across Qatar.” The Peninsula
