Manama: The General Command of the Bahrain Defense Force (BDF) revealed that its air defense systems have intercepted and neutralized 147 projectiles and 282 UAVs that targeted Bahrain since the start of the Iranian attacks.

The BDF urged the public to strictly adhere to maximum levels of caution and alertness to protect their safety and to stay away from affected sites, never approach any suspicious objects, refrain from taking photos of wreckage sites, and never circulate rumors.

In addition, the BDF stressed that it is vitally important to obtain information from official sources, with the critical need to closely follow official and government media outlets for information, alerts, and cautions.

It further noted that the use of ballistic missiles and drones to target civilian objects and private property runs afoul of international humanitarian law and the UN Charter, reemphasizing that such indiscriminate and heinous attacks pose a direct threat to regional peace and security.
