Doha: The Board of Directors of Dar Al Sharq held a meeting chaired by HE Sheikh Dr. Khalid bin Thani bin Abdullah Al Thani, during which it approved a number of strategies for the media house during the next stage.
The board approved the appointment of Jaber Al Harami as Editor-In-Chief of sister newspaper Al-Sharq, to replace Sadiq Muhammad Al-Ammari, who handed over his resignation.
The Council expressed its thanks and appreciation to Sadiq Al-Ammari for his efforts throughout his term as editor-in-chief of Al-Sharq, wishing him success in his future projects.
Jaber Al-Harami currently holds the position of Deputy CEO of Dar Al Sharq Group. He was the editor-in-chief of Al-Sharq newspaper from 2008 to 2016, and prior to that he was deputy editor-in-chief of the publication. He has also worked with Al-Raya, Al-Watan and Al-Arab in various positions.
