Doha College students pose for a group photograph with teachers and Andy McCormick after attending a fun session part of new community programme ‘United Through Golf’ at Doha Golf Club (DGC) yesterday. More than 70 Doha College students featured in various fun activities at the Qafco-backed Family Zone at DGC. The “United Through Golf” workshop, headed by McCormick, taught children core values such as respect, honesty and commitment while playing golf. On Friday and Saturday, there will be fun competitions for families with special “United through Golf” gift for every participant assured, McCormick said. There will be the 9-hole “United Through Golf” mini course, where kids will go into the draw to win a Roots 18 ShortGolf golf programme for their school. More schoolchildren are expected to visit the Family Zone today.
