Doha: Ashraf Chirakkal – Regional Director, Grand Hypermarket Qatar — opened Grand Express Hypermarket and Superstores’ eighth Qatar outlet in Al Aziziya on November 16.
The Regional Director launched Grand Express, Aziziya at a gala in the presence of CEO Shareef BC, General Manager Ajith Kumar, and Chief Operations Officer David Ford in the presences of guests and media representatives.
Speaking at the event, Ashraf Chirkkal said that the launch cominh ahead of the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 would be a boon to consumers living in Al Aziziya area.
He praised Amir H H Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani and the government of Qatar for initiatives that are rapidly expanding the country’s real estate footprint sustainably.
“I am honoured to launch Grand Express Al Aziziya, Grand’s eighth hypermarket in Qatar. This reaffirms Qatar’s rapid economic growth."
In his remarks on the occasion, CEO Shareef BC said, “The launch of our eighth hypermarket in Qatar is the result of the diligent work of our team. Only with the support of the relevant ministries, customers and municipal authority we were able to achieve the growth and success.
Ashraf Chirkkal said Grand Hypermarkets, Qatar will open 3 more Grand outlets within the next six months — one mall and three express outlets.
