Doha: Ambassador of the Sultanate of Oman to the State of Qatar H E Najib bin Yahya Al Balushi affirmed the strength of the well-established Qatari-Omani relations, describing it as close brotherly relations.
Speaking to Qatar News Agency (QNA), the Ambassador that the two peoples of Oman and Qatar are linked by historical ties based on solid foundations, thanks to the lofty directives of HM Sultan Haitham bin Tariq of the Sultanate of Oman and Amir H H Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani.
He pointed out that the Qatari-Omani relations are a model for relations of cooperation, pointing out that the two leaders are keen to develop them in various fields, to reach the highest levels of cooperation and partnership servicing the mutual interest.
Oman’s Ambassador to Qatar affirmed that the visit of HM Sultan Haitham bin Tariq of the Sultanate of Oman to the State of Qatar, which comes at the kind invitation of Amir H H Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, will address the multiple areas of cooperation between the two countries, and ways to develop and enhance them to achieve the hopes and aspirations of the two peoples towards progress, development, and growth, as well as exchanging views on a number of issues of common interest.
