Continuing its expansion in 2018, Spar Retail yesterday opened its third store at 03 Mall in New Salata area. Plans are underway to open an additional stores during 2019, ranging in size from convenience stores to supermarkets.
The first 1,500 square metres store in Doha, opened on November 28, 2017 in a shopping centre, B-Square Mall, which offers a family shopping experience to the residents of New Thumama and surrounding neighborhoods. The first hypermarket opened at Tawar Mall, located in the city center.
Building on the successful experience of over 85 years, Spar International has worked closely with SPAR Qatar to develop a retail offer which is attractive to the diverse shopper profile. The full range of service departments offering market style fruit and vegetables, fresh fish, butchery, bakery, delicatessen and ready-made meals, complement the full dry grocery offer.
