Qatar shooting team continued its impressive run in the 14th edition of Arab Shooting Championship 2018 to win seven medals at Losail Shooting complex in Doha on Tuesday .
In rifle 50m, Kuwait’s shooter Turki Al Shamari claimed the gold medal ahead of Oman’s Ibrahim Al Moqbali. While in the women’s rifle 50m, Qatar Aisha Al Suwaidi clinched the first place and second place went to Zahra Al Baloushi from Sultanate of Oman.
In the women’s pistol 10m,Qatar’s Nasra Mohammed won the gold medal as the silver medal went to Wadha Al Baloushi from Oman.
In this prestigious championship shooters are competing in several categories including Rifle, Pistol, Skeet, Trap and Double Trap which will take place from 16-25 November.
The event is bringing together more than 200 shooters (men and women) representing many countries including Oman, Sudan, Iraq, Jordan, Palestine, Kuwait, Lebanon, Libya, Morocco and hosts Qatar.
On Monday, Qatar won three gold medals, two in individual skeet events for men and women and the third one came in the men’s team event.
