Doha, Qatar: A fire broke out on Wednesday in several fishing boats at Al Wakrah Port.
Several videos circulating on social media showed thick smoke rising as multiple boats were engulfed in flames.

The Ministry of Interior announced on its official X account that Civil Defense teams were immediately dispatched to the scene and worked swiftly to bring the blaze under control.
In a later update, the Ministry confirmed that the fire had been fully contained without any reported casualties.
Further details regarding the cause of the fire and the extent of the damage have yet to be announced.
