The conference will begin today. Sports Federations and Sports Clubs from GCC will be taking part in the conference. The conference is held under the patronage of Youth and Sports Minister Salah bin Ghanem Al Ali. QOC Secretary General Sheikh Saoud bin Abdulrahman Al Thani is the chairman of the GCC Sports and Environment Committee. The Presidents, Directors, Secretary Generals of the GCC Olympic committees as well as presidents of the sports federations and sports clubs will also attend the conference. The three-day event will also feature the participation of media representatives from the GCC nations in addition to President and Board Members of the International Sport Press Association (AIPS) on the sidelines of their meeting in Doha.
