As part of its corporate social responsibility strategy, Mashreq Qatar held an environmental staff-programme at the Dahl Al Hammam Park recently.

The bank’s entire management team and over 30 bank staff participated in a mega environmental clean-up project at the Dahl Al Hammam Park, which is located in Doha’s Medinat Khalifa. The impressive park is considered a natural landmark in Doha.

Howard Kitson, Country Head, Mashreq-Qatar commented: “Mashreq Qatar is committed to the valuable work being done by Ministry of Environment to support the environment-, which is an integral part  of Qatar National Vision 2030. We look forward to holding similar environment-friendly initiatives in the future.”

Ayesha Al Kuwari, HR Manager added: “The corporate social responsibility programme does not only safe-guard and invest in the environment but cultivates a collaborative work-culture that creates a socially and environmentally conscious team.”

Mashreq’s corporate social responsibility strategy focuses on protecting the environment through a variety of sustainable initiatives. The bank’s dedication to the community and its customers is further evident through various initiatives such as Go-green campaign by issuing electronic statements to all customers or by investing in environment friendly alternate banking channels to reduce the carbon footprint.
