DUBAI: Ellucian has collaborated with Qatar University (QU) to deploy the new Banner technology to support its growing student services portfolio, and its commitment to becoming a world-class institution.
Banner technology from Ellucian is an extensible ecosystem that allows institutions to configure and deploy new applications to support an ever-evolving campus, without sacrificing existing infrastructure.
The Banner modules deployed at QU include Course Catalogue, Class Schedule and Event Management. The Event Management module is a new capability in Banner that allows QU to provide prospective students with online information about university events, opportunities to meet faculty and staff, and for students to integrate these events with their smartphones and tablet devices.
