BEIJING: China Development Bank (CDB) has invested at least $2.4 billion in African infrastructure and commercial projects in the African continent.
Zheng Zhijie ,president of the CDB, which is the largest lender in China, said the China-Africa Development Fund has financed mineral resources, machinery manufacturing, power generation, agricultural and infrastructure projects in more than 30 African countries.
Zheng Zhijie noted that CDB has extended loans of $18.9 billion to the African countries. (QNA)
