Captain Shabib Mohammed Al Nuaimi, from the traffic patrols, pointed out that the new radar has several modern technical features and will be fitted in both civilian and police vehicles in such a way that it will be nearly impossible to spot them.

It operates on the move and adopts infrared imaging and not the annoying flash lights. The speed sensor in the front of the patrol car is well-hidden and not at all visible from outside. It is capable of shooting pictures of cars in both directions in different weather conditions and covers six tracks.

Inside, the patrol car is equipped with latest control devices. The patrolling officials can find out the speed of large and small vehicles as well as know the speed limit and identify the street number. It can also shoot photos and film videos.
