Doha: The Ministry of Interior (MoI) has announced that two women have been pulled out alive from the collapsed building in Bin Durham area (Mansoura), Doha.
"Further to the previous statement regarding the collapse of a building in the Bin Durham area, the search and rescue teams were able to pull out two women alive. They have been shifted to the hospital to receive the necessary medical treatment," MoI said in a statement on Twitter.

"Preliminary investigations indicated that maintenance work was ongoing in the building at the time of the collapse," the statement read.
It added that the relevant authorities have taken measures to ensure that the parties responsible for the maintenance work had the necessary permits and to determine whether their actions had any impact on the building's collapse.
