MoPH calls for volunteers to help fight coronavirus

The Ministry of Public Health (MoPH) has called volunteers to join the National Volunteering Campaign: “For Qatar” and help fight the coronavirus (COVID-19).

Volunteers’ responsibilities will include, medical practice (clinical), allied health practice, public health awareness, logistics and others, the ministry said.

To be volunteers one should be a resident of Qatar with a valid QID. If selected they will attend a two-hour induction and a two-hour job-specific training session before proceeding with their duties.

Selected volunteers will be needed for at least 14 days of eight-hour shifts over a 12-week period from the end of March to the end of June, according to the MoPH.
