This respected national competition is an established and traditional event in the schools’ calendar.
Held for the 58th time this year, it is sponsored by the Ministry of Awqaf and Islamic Affairs in collaboration with and under the auspices of the Ministry of Education and Higher Education.
The competition seeks to demonstrate Qatar’s commitment to serving Holy Quran and to developing understanding of Holy Quran. Dr Mohammed Saefan, Ta’allum Director of Education, said: “We are very pleased to see the increasing commitment of Ta’allum students to the Holy Quran competition. It is central to our Ta’allum vision of quality education based on an Islamic ethos that aims to serve humanity.’
