Havana: US President Barack Obama on Tuesday told Cubans that he had made a landmark trip to Havana to "bury the last remnant of the Cold War in the Americas."

In a nationally televised speech, Obama said that "we cannot and should not ignore the very real differences that we have about how we organize our governments," adding that he believed in the Cuban people.
