Mohammed Khalifa Albaker guided 13-year-old bay stallion Lissabon 56 to win the event at the Qatar Equestrian Federation’s Indoor Arena, yesterday. Canavaro De Muze (E.T), ridden by Jaber Rashid Al Amri, finished second while Ghanim Nasser Al Qadi and his rider Morocco finished third fastest. Later, Hussain Saeed Haidan (Viahipi D’Auzay), Ghanim (Morocco) and Saeed Nasser Al Qadi (Carrera Denfer) of Team NK Café came together to secure the victory in the team event.
Earlier, Saeed Hamad Jumaa won the Small Tour round after completing a flawless routine with nine-year-old gelding Jumbo. Future Riders (Optimum time) 60cm event was won by Mohammed Abdulla Al Marri astride Sita, while Khalid Jassim Al Suwaidi captured the victory in the Future Riders (Table A. Two phases. Art. 274.1.5.3) event 80cm class.
